P検は、米国ISTEが定めた国際的なICT教育基準である「NETS（National Educational Technology Standards）」の準拠資格として認定を受けています。

ISTEは、米国ワシントンD.C.に本部を置くNPOであり、米国教育省の助成金を受け、教育機関や組織、企業、大学や高校・中学、また、その保護者等、多くの協力をもとに NETSという国際的な情報教育の基準を開発しました。
現在、そのNETSは、ICT先進国であるアメリカ国内9割以上の州内の学校で導入または参考にされており、近年ではアジア・ヨーロッパ各国からも大変注目されている教育基準となっています。

Statement of Alignment

The International Society for Technology in Education (www.iste.org) completed review of the P-Ken Assessment of ICT Proficiency : Level pre-4 - Level 2 on November 29, 2005, and has determined that it clearly supports implementation of the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for Students in specific, carefully reviewed and documented ways and substantially prepares participants in the following manner:

NETS･S ALIGNMENT

Meets : 1.A., 1.B., 2.B., 3.A., 3.B., 5.B.
Supports significant growth for : 4.A., 4.B., 5.A.
